Cybersecurity Tested for Connected Charging
A genuine smart EV charger connects to home or business networks, making cybersecurity an important part of choosing the right charger.
The ECOCharge product family has been independently evaluated by Bureau Veritas LCIE for compliance with ETSI EN 303 645, the recognised European cybersecurity standard for consumer Internet of Things products.
It has also been evaluated to EN 18031-1:2024 under the cybersecurity requirements of the European Radio Equipment Directive, including RED Article 3.3(d) for the protection of communications networks.
These standards address important connected-product security principles, helping protect the charger, its network connection and customer information against common cybersecurity risks.
For customers, electricians and businesses, this provides added confidence that ECOCharge has been designed for secure, modern connected charging, not simply remote app control.
