Mazda CX-60 PHEV
A medium-sized SUV combining a 2.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor. Offers up to 63km of electric-only range (WLTP) — enough for most NZ daily commutes. Charges fully in around 2.5 hours on a home wall charger.

Mazda CX-80 PHEV
A 7-seat large SUV with plug-in hybrid power. Delivers up to 59km of electric-only range and charges fully in around 2.5 hours on a home AC wall charger.

Mazda 6e — Arriving H2 2026
Mazda's first fully electric passenger car for NZ. A 5-door hatchback with a 78kWh LFP battery, up to 560km WLTP range, 190kW rear-wheel drive, and rapid DC charging (10–80% in ~24 min). Single Takami grade.

For most Mazda EV and PHEV owners, the best home Mazda EV charging setup is a dedicated
7kW wall charger paired with a Type 2 cable. This will fully charge your Mazda CX-60 PHEV or CX-80 PHEV in around 2.5 hours, and comfortably charge the Mazda 6e overnight. If you have rooftop solar, a solar-integrated smart charger lets you charge your Mazda predominantly on free energy from your own roof.
