A domestic AC wall charger installed at your home or office gives you the flexibility to charge your EV whenever it suits you. EV Power wall chargers come in single or three-phase options and are compatible with any NZ-new Tesla with a Type 2 port.
You can choose between tethered or non-tethered versions of our BCP wall charger with Dynamic Load Balancing. Opting for the tethered version makes it quick and easy to park, charge, and go, as the charging cable is already attached.
If you prefer to use your own EV charging lead, the EV Power wall charger can accommodate both Type 1 and Type 2 EVs, making it convenient for charging vehicles belonging to family and friends. You can buy the cable length that suits your needs, with 5m, 7m, or 10m Type 1 and Type 2 cables available.
Dynamic Load Balancing as standard
When you plug in your Tesla to charge at night, it draws a lot of power! With Dynamic Load Balancing technology, your household appliances receive power first, and your Tesla gets charged second. This ensures that the 32 Amps used by the Tesla, along with the power needed for lights, heaters, and other appliances, won’t exceed the 63 amps supplied to a single-phase home.
