A convenient 10m lead could make charging easier and suit cars you own in the future. If you have to buy less you potentially reduce waste.
Some EV/PHEVs have the charging port in the rear which means in some cases you’ll need to reverse up to the Type 2 (home or public un-tethered) charging station. This might not always be easy or practical. A 10m cable will allow you to charge your car parked in any direction.
If you want to upgrade your EV later, say you drive a leased vehicle for work, you’ll know a 10m cable will reach.
Simply select a lead with a Type 1 or Type 2 connection. Not sure what that is? Check out our handy Charging Guide to avoid ordering the wrong cable.
